Mr. Joshua Hayes teaches History, Literature, Physical Education and coaches the Rugby team. A native of eastern North Carolina, Mr. Hayes was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in English at the United States Naval Academy in 1998, served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy until 2004, and was awarded a Masters of the Arts degree in English Literature at Old Dominion University (Norfolk, Virginia) in 2004. Mr. Hayes is a founding faculty member at Notre Dame de La Salette Boys Academy and is married to the former Miss Heidi Henning of Greenville, Michigan. They have seven children: Lucia, Blaise, Angela, Marta, Adelaide, Gemma, and Sabina.
